Newborns

As a mom of three amazing kiddos, I can tell you how quickly this time passes. Really trust me, one of those amazing kids has graduated high school  and begun a career,  it feels like we were just hanging out watching Blue's Clues last week. 

My newborn portrait sessions are typically reserved prior to baby's birth to ensure availability. You can reserve your session at any time during your pregnancy, then contact me once your precious new baby arrives to set a session date/time. 
Newborns are best photographed between 7-20 days of age, they are still quite sleepy and easily posed into the cuddly, squishy poses you see in my work. Prior to your little one's session, I'll send along a session prep packet to give you some tips on how to help make baby extra sleepy to ensure your session goes as smoothly as possible. 

Newborn sessions take place in my Corpus Christi studio, where I have plenty of backdrops, props, baskets, wraps, headbands, bonnets, and adorable newborn outfits from popular newborn photography vendors.

Your newborns health and safety is my number one priority! I do regular training and workshops with the leaders in this industry and have taken numerous courses on safely posing and handling newborns. As an added comfort, I have worked in hospital emergency rooms for most of my adult life and specifically with pediatrics the last few years as a healthcare worker. You can be assured that your precious baby is in the hands of a true professional when choosing me as your photographer.
